Preflyt

Preflyt helps software developers, engineering leads, and platform teams improve code quality and security throughout the software development lifecycle. It scans connected GitHub repositories for exposed secrets, vulnerable dependencies, code quality issues, and infrastructure configuration risks. Teams can inspect affected source code, track findings over time, review contributor activity, and understand the scope and limitations of each assessment. Repository health assessments can run without an existing CI pipeline when a supported scanner runtime is configured.

Preflyt also connects engineering standards with pull request workflows. Teams can define versioned policies, evaluate test and security scan results against those requirements, and configure GitHub merge protection to require passing checks. Optional AI-powered reviews provide advisory explanations and remediation guidance without overriding deterministic checks. Preflyt Community Edition is free, open source under Apache-2.0, and supports self-hosting through Docker Compose or Kubernetes with no repository cap. A managed cloud offering is planned but is not yet available for signup.
