About
Flux is a local-first software infrastructure tool that gives web applications local memory and makes them more resilient to unreliable networks.
It sits between your application and its backend, managing how data is stored, accessed, synchronized, and shared across browser tabs. Flux reduces redundant server requests by reusing locally available data, coordinates data access across tabs, and enables applications to continue working offline by queuing changes and synchronizing them when connectivity returns.
Flux also supports real-time data synchronization, conflict checks, incremental data updates, and automatic recovery when connections are restored.
Built for React, Next.js, and other supported web frameworks, Flux helps developers build faster, more resilient web applications without replacing their existing backend, database, or authentication system.
**The goal:** Give web applications local memory, reduce unnecessary server requests, and keep users productive even when the network fails.
