About
Inkwell targets users who exchange agreements over chat and email and later struggle to identify which version was signed. Users upload PDFs, scan paper pages with a phone, write documents inside the tool, or start from templates such as NDAs, freelance agreements, tenancy contracts, and offer letters. Changes are saved as versioned drafts with notes; reviewers can pin comments, approve, or request edits before a locked version is sent for signature. Signers receive a link, confirm identity with a code, and sign by typing or drawing without creating an account or installing an app.
Signed documents receive a Certificate of Completion recording who signed, when, and from where, plus a unique fingerprint. Anyone can later upload the PDF to the verify page to confirm it is unchanged. Additional features include bulk sending from a spreadsheet, WhatsApp and email reminders, optional deposit collection via Paystack at signing time, in-person phone signing, and an API with webhooks. Pricing is free to start with Naira payments via Paystack for regular use; the service notes that electronic signatures are recognized under Nigeria’s Evidence Act and similar rules elsewhere but does not provide legal advice.
