Oku

Oku targets African teams, fintechs, legal/HR departments, and SaaS developers who need to add document-grounded AI search to their products or internal tools. Users upload PDFs, Word docs, CSVs, or website URLs; Oku extracts text, chunks it, and builds a per-workspace vector index. Queries hit an OpenAI-compatible endpoint that retrieves relevant chunks and generates answers with source citations, all while keeping data on African nodes (Lagos and Abuja primaries) for NDPR compliance and sub-15ms retrieval.

Key features include multi-tenant workspaces with RBAC, PDF and web crawling, bring-your-own AI key support, webhooks and audit logs, and Naira pricing via Paystack.
