DataSabi
See which apps use your internet data on Linux, and get alerted when one starts eating your bundle.
About
DataSabi is a Linux desktop app from Arkodeon that shows which apps are using your internet data. Each app gets its own page with hourly usage and a live speed graph, and your daily total sits in the tray. It alerts you when one app uses a lot of data fast on a MiFi or hotspot (50 MB in 15 minutes by default, and you can change it).
It works offline, with no account and no telemetry. It only keeps per-app byte totals, never packet contents, URLs or remote IPs, and everything stays on your machine. The collector that measures traffic is open source (Rust, Apache-2.0) and runs as its own user, not root.
Available for Ubuntu 22.04+ and Debian 12 (.deb) and Fedora (.rpm). A Windows version is planned.
