Dishylink
A powerful Starlink monitoring experience for desktop and browsers.
About
Dishylink is an unofficial, open-source application that brings a deeper Starlink monitoring experience to Mac, Windows, and web browsers.
Instead of relying only on the standard Starlink experience, Dishylink gives users detailed visibility into their internet connection and hardware, including live telemetry, speed tests, latency analytics, power consumption, connected devices, data usage, alerts, outages, satellite tracking, and obstruction mapping.
Users can also monitor dish alignment, see exactly how their dish is positioned, inspect connected devices and their network performance, track historical energy usage, and receive alerts when the dish or router encounters problems.
Dishylink is designed to work locally, with no account required and no telemetry, analytics, tracking, or crash reports sent to the cloud. It is free and open source, and supports macOS, Windows, and browsers.
Why we featured it
Dishylink takes something that many Starlink users already have and gives them much deeper visibility into how it is performing.
What makes it particularly interesting is the combination of technical depth and accessibility. Users can inspect everything from latency and device-level data usage to power consumption, outages, satellite activity, and obstructions, while keeping their data on their own machine.
It is also a great example of an independent builder identifying a specific technical problem and turning it into a polished, open-source product.
