9jaStates turns Nigeria's states into a competitive digital showcase for founders, creators, entrepreneurs, and businesses. Users select a state on an interactive map, submit their business or project name, website, description, and optional social handle, and pay the required amount to establish their claim. Each state represents a digital placement rather than legal ownership of the physical territory.

The platform supports competitive takeovers, configurable claim amounts, public claimant profiles, and ownership history. When another user wants an occupied state, they can meet or exceed the required takeover price, transferring the claim after payment verification. 9jaStates is designed to help African indie builders and businesses gain online exposure, showcase their projects, and discover other brands through a shared, game-like regional leaderboard.
